DATAFILE: Cl2_Young(2011)_233K_509-570nm.txt
NAME: chlorine
FORMULA: Cl2
AUTHOR(YEAR): Young(2011)
T: 233K
λ: 509-570nm
BIBLIOGRAPHY: I.A.K. Young, C. Murray, C.M. Blaum, R.A. Cox, R.L. Jones, and F.D. Pope, "Temperature dependent structured absorption spectra of molecular chlorine", Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. 13, 15318-15325 (2011); DOI: 10.1039/C1CP21337G
COMMENTS: Absorption cross sections have been measured using a dual wavelength spectrometer which can simultaneously perform single pass UV absorption spectroscopy (used to obtain the Cl2 concentration) and broad-band cavity enhanced absorption spectroscopy (BBCEAS) in the green region of the visible spectrum (instrument resolution 0.36 nm)

The absorption cross sections interpolated from the experimental data at a resolution of 1 nm and the associated 1σ standard deviations are taken from Table 1
